Availability and buffer time between meetings
Availability rules decide when people can book you: your working hours, buffer time between meetings and daily limits.

Why availability rules matter.
Back-to-back meetings leave no time to prepare, write notes or eat lunch. By the afternoon, you're worn out.
Caletus lets you set working hours, buffer time around meetings, minimum notice, how far ahead people can book and a daily or weekly meeting limit.
How availability rules work.
- 1
Set your working hours
Choose your open hours for each day of the week, in your time zone. - 2
Add buffer time
Leave time around each meeting, like 10 minutes to wrap up, so calls never run back to back. - 3
Cap your day
Limit how many meetings you take each day or week, so you keep time to focus.
Before you start
- Nothing extra. It's included on every plan.

Questions about availability rules.
What people ask before they set up availability rules: how it works, which plan it needs and its limits.
Talk it through with our teamA buffer keeps free time around each meeting. For example, with a 15-minute buffer, a 30-minute booking at 2:00 PM keeps the next booking from starting before 2:45 PM. That gives you time to wrap up, write notes or take a break before the next call.
Yes. You can create several availability schedules, for example one for sales demos on weekday afternoons and one for mentoring calls on Friday mornings. Each host on an event uses one schedule, so pick the right one for each event.
Minimum notice stops people from booking you at the last minute. If you set 4 hours of notice, nobody can book a 2:00 PM meeting at 1:30 PM that day. It gives you time to prepare and keeps surprise meetings off your calendar.
Yes. Set a daily limit, such as four meetings a day, or a weekly limit. Once you reach it, your booking page stops offering more times for that day or week, so the remaining hours stay free for focused work, admin or a proper lunch break.
A date override changes your hours for one specific day without touching your normal weekly schedule. Mark a date as unavailable for a holiday or time off, or set shorter hours for a half-day. Every other day keeps your usual availability, and these rules are on every plan.
You choose. Each availability schedule has a booking window, 60 days by default, which you can set anywhere from 1 day to about two years. People can only book times inside that window, so your calendar doesn't fill up months ahead unless you want it to.
